Combining an ultra-light yet supportive footplate, midsole rocker geometry and SurfaceCTRL grip, our VECTIV technology is designed to maximize energy on the trails. And in the Exploris that translates into walking shoes designed to cover the kilometers. But while this model is filled with the same great details as the original, we’ve made some changes. The platform under the foot is wider for more stability. The stack height is 2mm higher for more comfort and support and the rocker midsole offers a forked heel and forefoot and a TPU plate for more lateral movement of the foot in the shoe and stability. Designed with input from The North Face athletes, the FUTURELIGHT membrane remains as waterproof and breathable as ever. The heels and toes are reinforced for protection on rocky trails and the 4mm lug soles keep you stable on uneven surfaces.
